Praying at all times in the Spirit with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. – Ephesians 6:18

January 10-17, 2016 is Prayer Emphasis Week at the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church.

We believe it happens after prayer! And we expression our devotion to believing prayer by beginning each year committing ourselves, one another, and our congregation to the Lord in prayer. I preach on prayer during these two Sundays. And we have set prayer times during the week.

Members were given the opportunity to submit prayer requests. These prayer cards are placed on at the front of our pulpit platform. And members are asked to come by during the course of the week to intercede for one another.

You can submit prayer requests through the Shiloh Church website. (Click the Engage tab to find the prayer link. Requests may be submitted anonymously or publicly.)

I will also lead a 15-minute prayer call Monday through Friday at 6:00 AM. To join the prayer call dial 800-220-9875 (Access Code: 11182939). During these prayer calls, I will do a brief devotional from the Model Prayer (Luke 11:1-4) and we will pray.

We are calling our Midweek Services this week – Tuesday at 7 PM in Orange Park and Wednesday at 7 PM Downtown – Vision Night. These will be times of corporate prayer. We will pray for our elders, deacons, staff, and ministry leaders for the new year. And I will give a “State of the Church Address,” leading us to thank God for what he has done in 2015 and trust God for 2016.

We invite you to pray with us and for us this week. To God be the glory!
